SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR (SAC) EDUCATION — 360 HOURS
Build your knowledge and skills through a self-paced program with videos, readings, practical activities, and instructor review.
WHAT YOU WILL STUDY
Domain 1: Assessment — 60 hours
Domain 2: Substance Abuse Counseling — 60 hours
Domain 3: Substance Abuse Case Management — 60 hours
Domain 4: Substance Abuse Patient Education — 60 hours
Domain 5: Professional Responsibility — 60 hours
Domain 6: Electives & Ethics — 60 hours, including 6 hours of ethics
HOW LEARNING WORKS
Complete required videos, readings, workbooks, study logs, and assessments at your own pace. Quizzes require a passing score of at least 75%. An instructor reviews domain requirements before assigning access to the next domain. Final education completion is confirmed after all program requirements are reviewed and approved.
TUITION
Pay in full: $750
Payment plan: Four monthly payments of $200 ($800 total)
Tuition covers all six SAC domains.

Completing this education program does not by itself grant a Wisconsin SAC credential. Applicants must meet the other applicable licensure requirements.
Safe Shooters Training Academy
Building safer families and communities through education, responsibility, and conflict prevention.
We offer FREE, age-appropriate gun safety education for youth ages 5–17, along with gun safety training for adults ages 21 and older. Training is provided by a National Gun Safety Instructor.
Additional services include:
• CCW training and application guidance for eligible adults ages 21 and older.
• Gun range training.
• De-escalation and conflict-resolution skills.
Youth instruction emphasizes recognizing danger, avoiding unsafe situations, and notifying a trusted adult.
