Credible Voices Training Academy – a Program of UGHI

Your cancellation, withdrawal and refund rights

Credible Voices Training Academy - a Program of UGHI adopts the EAP-based protections described here for SAC enrollment. A study pause is optional and does not replace cancellation or refund rights. This policy does not represent separate EAP approval or exemption. Updated November 5, 2026; enrollment launch draft.

Tuition and the enrollment period

Tuition covers the complete six-domain, 360-hour SAC education program: $750 paid in full or four monthly installments of $200 ($800 total). There is no separate application or withdrawal fee. The current enrollment period is the complete 360-hour program, not each payment month or each domain. The payment schedule does not impose a four-month coursework deadline.

Three-business-day cancellation

You may cancel without penalty or obligation until midnight of the third business day after receiving notice of acceptance. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are excluded. UGHI will provide a dated cancellation notice with the applicable deadline at acceptance. For a timely cancellation, UGHI returns all payments and ends further payment obligations within 10 business days after receiving the cancellation notice. Starting lessons or downloading files does not waive this right. UGHI accepts cancellation by email, mail, in person or verbally and will document it; a particular form is not required by this academy policy.

Withdrawal and dismissal after that period

You may withdraw at any time. Tell the academy or your instructor; you do not have to submit a written request or use a particular form, and you do not have to separately ask for a refund. Email info@ughinc.org or contact Uniting Garden Homes Inc., 4201 N. 27th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53216. UGHI will document the notice, effective date and account calculation. Dismissal is subject to the same applicable refund protections.

Prorated refunds before 60% completion

After the cancellation period, a student withdrawing or being dismissed before completing 60% of the program's potential instructional units is eligible for a prorated refund under the SPS 408.05 framework. Divide units remaining after the last completed unit by total units in the enrollment period, then round the resulting percentage downward to the nearest 10%. Apply that percentage to tuition and other required costs paid for that period, less only amounts lawfully owed. UGHI waives the rule's permitted application-fee deduction. No additional fee is introduced. Any balance and remaining installments must be reconciled so the student is not charged more than the amount permitted by the refund standards.

How self-paced completion is measured

UGHI uses the instructional-hour allocations attached to required activities in the 360-hour curriculum to identify completed instructional units. The instructor reviews actual learning records, submissions, quizzes and viewing records, including completed instruction awaiting grading. A Wix progress percentage, an unlocked page, elapsed calendar time, or the number of installments paid does not by itself establish instructional completion. Optional resources, orientation, repeat attempts and the extra Counseling allocation do not enlarge the 360-hour refund denominator. The student receives the completed-unit record and calculation; disputed completion is reviewed before an adverse billing decision.

Completion of 60% or more and special circumstances

A standard prorated refund is generally not required at or after 60% completion under the cited framework. UGHI will consider mitigating circumstances beyond the student's control that directly prevent continued study and will apply any refund required for those circumstances. UGHI will also provide a full refund where required because enrollment resulted from misrepresentation or the school accepted an unqualified student without the required disclaimer. Other applicable legal rights remain in effect.

Timing and unused materials

For withdrawals and dismissals after the cancellation period, UGHI will issue any refund due and adjust the remaining obligation within 30 calendar days after notice of withdrawal or dismissal. This academy deadline also falls within the 40-day limit stated in SPS 408.05(3). UGHI will make reasonable efforts to refund separately prepaid, unused books or supplies that can be reused or returned. Refunds are not withheld because of a conduct-rule violation. Any sponsor-funded amounts are returned to the appropriate sponsor as required, with the remaining amount paid to the student.

Pausing and returning

Contact the academy to arrange a study pause and return plan. Students paid in full may arrange to resume the same course without purchasing it again. Installment students must arrange billing and access changes before the next charge; stopping study alone does not stop automatic payments. UGHI confirms the effective date, access arrangements and remaining payment schedule. Existing progress and academic records are preserved. Choosing a pause is voluntary; a withdrawal or request for a refund will not be converted into a pause without the student's agreement.

Inactivity and constructive notice

A recorded, agreed study pause does not count as unexplained inactivity. Otherwise, after 30 consecutive days without recorded required learning activity, UGHI will try to contact the student using the account contact details and make a second documented attempt at least seven calendar days later. If there is no response or learning activity by day 45, UGHI treats the prolonged nonparticipation as constructive notice of withdrawal, records the last documented instructional activity as the effective date for the completion calculation, and begins the refund/account adjustment process. This is an administrative withdrawal procedure, not a fixed deadline to complete the self-paced course. A student can give actual notice sooner.

Questions and records

For questions or a copy of the calculation, contact info@ughinc.org. UGHI will explain the tuition paid, instructional units, refund percentage, lawful offsets, amount returned and any adjusted balance. Asking a question or disputing a calculation does not waive a right or delay a refund already due.
